MontMartre Midi is what I would consider a quiet luxury scent. It doesn't make itself known when I walk into a room, but it leaves people curious when they're close enough to catch it. It feels understated, elegant, and intentional.
The initial spray is the strongest part for me and reminds me of something that is spicy, woody and even smokey. It's not my favorite stage of the fragrance but I appreciate where it leads me. As it settles into the dry down, it feels much more like me. I pick up notes of honey, but not in an overly sweet kind of way. The honey Montmartre Midi has is more warm, natural and almost creamy. It lingers throughout the day and I can still catch traces of it as I'm getting ready to shower in the evening. It sits close to the skin and even I can't help but smell myself when I get wafts of it. The honey balances out the smoky, woody opening beautifully.
The packaging was beautiful. From the box to the bottle, it looked intentional and carefully designed. I especially appreciated the attention to detail on the cap and the weight of the bottle reinforced that quiet luxury feeling.
Shipping was fast, which I appreciate because I've been waiting since April of 2025 for this beauty to restock. I'm glad I happened to check because I can't remember whether I signed up for the restock notification. If I did, I never received an email.
Overall this perfume is here to stay. It layers well with what's already In my collection. For example, Merit's Retrospect layers well with Montmartre Midi. It's unexpected but somehow works. A bonus is that Retrospect softens the smoky, woody opening of MontMartre Midi. I am excited to reach for this perfume and it feels at home amongst the others I have intentionally purchased.
I love this fragrance. It reminds me of Gardenia by Chanel, not for the smell of Gardenia, but because of the realism of the floral. It smells like a fresh white floral, still a bit new and green, but wonderful. I only take off a star because the performance for me (several wears now) has been ok/average. I get about 4 hours wear time, and that is with more than 3 sprays. However, the actual scent is fire and I can't get enough. Will keep this in rotation FOR SURE

I am truly in love with this and thinking to buy a back up in case Marlena ever discontinues it lol it complements my skin so well. There is a unique scent in there that is mysterious but so sexy and I can't put my finger on it to what exactly it is but I keep going back for more and more! I would not sleep on this fragrance'l! It truly is so addicting and amazing! Marlena gives generous discounts as well! I can't wait to purchase another! Please don't ever discontinue this one!
